Jadian Opens Child-Friendly Space Management Training to Strengthen Child Protection

Jadian Youth for Peace and Development Organization opened a specialized training programme on Child-Friendly Space Management as part of its ongoing efforts to strengthen child protection and psychosocial support for children and adolescents affected by conflict.

The training takes place from 27 to 29 October 2026 at the organization's main hall and aims to build the capacities of facilitators and social researchers working in child protection and community-based support.

The activity is implemented under the project “Creating Safe and Supportive Environments Focusing on Psychosocial Support for Children, Adolescents, and People Affected by War.”

The training focuses on strengthening participants’ knowledge and practical skills in managing child-friendly spaces and supporting safe, inclusive, and nurturing environments that respond to the needs of children and adolescents affected by conflict.

Through this initiative, Jadian Youth for Peace and Development Organization seeks to enhance the quality of child protection activities and promote the psychosocial well-being, dignity, and safety of children and adolescents in affected communities.

The organization continues to work towards strengthening local capacities and supporting community-based interventions that contribute to safer and more supportive environments for vulnerable children and families in Sudan.
